Well, today of course we woke up not in Kathmandu but in Istanbul!

For a small fee per person, our lovely guide organised transport into the city centre and a local guide.  We spent a few hours wandering around some of the city’s famous sights.

Early evening, we had dinner at the hotel before leaving for the airport.
